I'm not sure I'd buy it at $300, but I'd like to eventually own a series S for the catalogue of 360 and original xbox games, and maybe the occasional game I don't want to have to keep on my PC (flight sim is fun but MASSIVE)

It’s like Sony has full court advantage this gen they don’t have to cow toe to Xbox at all. The only real competition is to the PC platform and not by much. the PC space is more for gamers who can afford the upgrade whereas the appeal to the masses is console for its ease of plug and play. Just my opinion

The top Microsoft 1st party videogame in gamepass is an ok game at best imo. Series S, X, gamepass and the monthly fee program are great for people on a budget, but Sony still has the strongest videogame lineup and quality control, not the mention the exclusives that are yet to be announced in the upcoming years.

Sony would be willing to take a loss on the Digital Only version if it means that you can only buy games through their storefront, And honestly, I am perfectly fine with that. Looking at probably $499/$599 CDN.

Basically says if your still on a 1080p tv or dont care for 4K, but want all advantages of next gen, here is a game pass (with EA Access) option for $299. Even gives an option for a PS5 owner on the fence to drop an extra $300 to have access to both systems.
