I know, it feels like Microsoft was way ahead of them this time and forced them to play their hand when they weren't ready. They probably wanted to release it early next year. Then again xbox didn't show much either. Or maybe both of them had to rush to capitalize on pandemic.

I find it incredible bizarre to be honest. It makes me feel like they're hiding something, I mean why else are they withholding basic information about a £450 console 2 months away from launch? it's just really really weird haha

It's crazy that we are just weeks away and yet we know next to nothing about the actual console. We know it plays Ps5 games and ps4 games, but what about UI, social features, psn store, what else can it do?

They said there will be an adapter and have said it will be free, but have not said how it will be distributed or how you can claim yours.

Did anybody see the images on IGN of the PS5 laying down? I thought it was strange looking when they revealed it but GOD DAMN this thing is a hideous monster. It looks like somebody punched it in the stomach and its on the ground crying in pain. It looks like a melting ice cream sandwich. It looks like a plastic toy mini of The Stark building fell over. Yeah I’ll be waiting for a massive redesign for the PS5. I have no where I could even put thing.

Great video Dustin. Overall, it a great show. FFXVI sealed the deal for me and with that price and Playstation coming through for me in all the past console generation, it was a no-brainer to pre-order one.

man I really think FromSoft games are the legit modern continuation of the vibe you get from a lot of old NES games. No hand holding, minimal direction, true exploration, a sense of discovery and reward that you don't get in most games anymore. I'm surprised they haven't got their hooks in you yet

Cheers for the recap. I managed to get one of the few preorders available in Australia. I think Control will be the first game I play (I have been waiting to play it at high frame rates). Fingers crossed backwards compatibility with ps4 games is working well at launch!

Why did I have to find out through Geoff that Demon's was a launch game instead of it being on the stream? Lots of weird things after the show

Great video. Managed to snag two PS5’s! A bundle through GameStop the night of the chaos and another the next day through the Sony invite only deal. My father and I are now next gen equipped.
