The teardown gave us a glimpse at the console's technical configurations and setups, though it also revealed the machine to be a bit of a beast, size-wise. Either way, for those in pursuit of power, the newest PlayStation should be a tantalizing product. Also: Sony revealed a surprise reconstruction of the Trophy landscape, Jim Ryan expects PS5 to sell big, Cyberpunk 2077 has gone gold amidst pseudo-controversy, internal mini-team PixelOpus is officially hiring for its third game, and more. Corruption exists in public (i.e. government) controlled systems, and can often become worse, as regulatory and industrial mechanisms become increasingly concentrated, and thus more easily leveraged by individuals with wealth and power. Not an attack on Chris, I'm glad he expressed that feeling. Many feel that way as Capitalism is most under the spotlight, since it it the predominant system globally

But hearing that you are only mid tier Silver with over 100 platinums and I’m in low Silver with 25 platinums makes the leveling feel a bit too steep to make me want to put the extra effort to progress in the new system.

If one game has an easy Platinum and another game's Platinum is time consuming or hard, so what? If I get an easy Platinum, it doesn't affect your personal gaming experience in any way. If you want to feel prideful, then choose the games you want to Platinum & don't dirty your hands with "lesser" Platinums. You Platinumed a Souls game? Awesome. Someone else Plat'd a cheap indie in one hour? Good for them. By all means look down upon them as peons if you like. The sanctity of your Souls Plat isn't affected. Hardcore trophy enthusiasts like yourself will see you *truly* earned your Platinum with a Souls game or whatever & nod approvingly. There are no real life stakes behind video game trophies and achievements ~ only personal pride. As such, no regulation of trophies is needed.

I'd love to have him on more SS/SS+ Episodes in the future as I thought he brought a great presence to the show. I now have the 106% completion on Xbox (I appear to be first in the world to do this, according to TrueAchievements) and I wasn't able to put the game down until I got the full completion. I hope Chris goes for the completion but it's no small task and there may be a lot of pain along the way! Crash 4 is miraculously the best mainline Crash game of all time, along with the most challenging. It is certainly a GOTY contender for me too and I cannot believe how well it turned out. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the show, thanks for making the best gaming podcast in the industry! :)
