That's just simply not true, if it's in sunlight - like most peoples' tv in the living room - burn in is a real problem. The average person just can't have an oled set.

Test drive unlimited 1 is better than any forza horizon game. Genuinely. And I love forza horizon but the ai and activities are shit. it's more about rpg mechanics than actual racing. Driveclub is also a much better actual racing game. The racing is amazing in that game because the ai and tracks are among the best. Plus gran turismo sport blows everything else away. You'll never find better racing, better graphics, or more fun than you can find in that game. It has a limitless skill ceiling that never stops being fun. Also even the car collection is more fun than forza horizon because the cars actually feel unique to each other because it's much more realistic

Exactly. They are easily one of the best parts of the game and essential to pacing and awareness. Not to mention this dude doesn't even play on nightmare and expects us to respect his criticisms on the game like he's an expert just because he played slow ass doom 2016 multiple times lmfao 🤣🤣🤣

Because it's a really stupid take. Chris doesn't even fo trophy hunting and he was trying to say that it's more convenient to use your phone than to do picture in picture. Anyone who has used guides to find collectibles will know what a stupid statement that is. Many times when looking for collectibles I would have to pause the video so I could catch up in game. With picture in picture we will be able to follow right along. This is my problem with chris. He constantly speaks strongly about things even if he's clueless on the subject.

Burn in is not an issue on OLED TVs. It's not a phone. You really have to go out of your way to make even slight burn in. The type of shit that would burn in an LCD screen even like I have (I had it on the same screen literally all the time). any screen can have burn in. OLED is factually superior technology. Even OLEDs from 2012 look better than any LED screen today

Sea of Thieves is good in concept but the execution is poor. The grind in that game takes you nowhere other than some cosmetics and its repeptitive af. State of Decay 3 is the third game in the series. It should be better than Days Gone, but barely is. Forza Horizon is an ok arcade racer. Xbox makes ok games at best imo while having way more money and resources than Sony.

Chris, I don't think you reconciled the contradiction. The "idea" of it is easier? C'mon. It's either easier to use and therefore better than looking up shit on your phone or it isn't. I don't know about you, but I find it quite annoying when I'm stuck on some obtuse puzzle in a game and I have to figure out which specific puzzle it is in a huge video game that might not label its sections intuitively. It could be much easier to just open game help and see a video that shows me the solution to the exact puzzle I'm on instantly.

But most people say they like offset better for shooters and in that case you have movement on both analog sticks so you're thumbs aren't parallel with an offset controller in that case... And that camera style is actually for most games. I have so many follow up questions lol

I always have my iPad next to me while gaming. For whatever reason, listen to podcast, checking something up or both at same time. It’s great and doesn’t interfere or bloat with the tv/gaming experience.

Holy shit, Chris, I've always been a zealot when it comes to thinking the Xbox Controller is better than the Dualshock, but never really knew how to articulate it other than "dunno it just feels better". The idea that the movement should be parallel to the face buttons had me thinking for like 10 minutes and I think you're on to something with it. I specifically remember playing FF7 Remake (the first game I played on my ps4 in 3 years lol) and at first feeling so nostalgic playing with the Dualshock, but soon coming to remember my dislike for the controller. I think it has a lot to do with me playing FF7 on the PS1 with the D-Pad, that was, as you said, parallel with the face buttons. Maybe I should give this more though but thanks for the insight
