Really disappointed to hear that Colin won't be playing CP2077 right away, which means no spoiler cast or extended discussion. Honestly, I'm really surprised. This is probably the biggest game of the year (hype wise)-- comparable to a multi-platform The Last of Us 2 in hype. I was really looking forward to the deep discussion between you guys on the story. Then again, I'd never want Colin to play something he just absolutely does not want to play just for the show, so I understand.

People weren't selling access to their accounts. People that have a PS5 were offering, for a fee, to log in as other people that don't have PS5's. Then they go into the PS5 store on the non-PS5 person's account and redeem the Playstation Plus Collection on that non-PS5 person's account. The non-PS5 person can now fire up their PS4 and have access to the Playstation Plus Collection of games. This is happening because the collection can't be claimed through the web store or on a PS4 - ONLY through the store on a PS5. Once redeemed, the PS4 games are playable on a PS4 though - no PS5 required.

Hey Colin - just wanted to chime in to say that I think a four-person GOTY discussion with you, Chris, Dustin and Matty sounds amazing. I love you and Chris and am eagerly awaiting your GOTY episode, but I do like the dynamic presented by more of a roundtable for this kind of thing. So eager to see what 2021 will bring for CLS - love the longer episodes, the branching out and all of the snarky humor. Looking forward to seeing more from Dustin, Matty and Micah as well (I hope)!

I have a few friends who told me they totally would have bought Avengers if it was just a tight Uncharted like adventure. The second you say its a Destiny clone it knocks the wind outa your sails. This is like when World of Warcraft came out and everyone wanted to get in on that action. Really sucks because FF7 was so damn good I hope Square isn't going to cut corners on part 2 because of this.

Chris's take on the Uncharted movie being better than the Last of Us show has to be the worst take ever uttered on this show. It has notably bad writers and directors attached and Tom Holland has been apart of bad movies before. Look up Chaos Walking. The Last of Us show has the creator of Chernobyl and Neil Druckmann attached. There's a significant difference between the level of talent among the two productions.

Having the 4 of you on the GOTY episode sounds perfect. Please do it. Maybe even put Micah on and make it 5. 👀 People selling access to their accounts is nothing new. In fact, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it except when 1 person sells their account to multiple people. This is what I think caused red flags and made PS step in. “Yeah, I don’t know if it’s gonna be the good kind of eating of the ass.” 😄 I haven’t thought about the convex vs concave sticks before. Don’t know if I have a preference. To Chris’ point though, this gen definitely has the best controllers so far. I was pleasantly surprised with the Series X controller, mainly the grips and padding. I’d take Chris up on that adaptation bet. I don’t think Uncharted comes out better than TLoU. Even the promotional still from the movie so far does nothing for me.

I'm glad you guys returned to the HBO LoU topic because you touched on exactly how I was feeling. I got my non-gamer girlfriend to binge both Last Of Us games and she loved it, especially Part II. I showed her a little bit of Uncharted after and she was excited that the Tom Holland movie was happening. And with my mom, her favorite book is City of Thieves, which LoU is inspired by, so this will be the closest thing to an adaptation she'll be able to see. I really think this show is all good news.

Colin is right about the PS5 controller dock being scarce. As surprisingly easy it was for me to preorder then get my PS5, the charging dock was put on backorder four times by Target until I said screw it and canceled it and got a third party one instead.

A bit surprised that there was no mention about the rumors of silent hills and the metal gear solid remake that has apparently been in the works for the last three years at bluepoint, alongside demon's souls. The youtuber Moore's Law is Dead seemed pretty confident about his source. He was also the first one to talk about God of War Ragnarok before it was shown. Was hoping to hear Colin's opinion on it.

So the issue with the PS+ collection is that you can download and play the games in the collection on PS4 only if you have already claimed them on a PS5. So people are selling others access by signing them into their PS5 as a guest and claiming the titles so that then those people, who are PS+ subscribers but do not own a PS5 the ability to then download them for free on their PS4. The selling of access is an issue, however, Sony locking those titles behind PS5 ownership is pretty shiesty. Sony should allow PS4 owners that are PS+ subscribers access to the collection as well and this would not be an issue.
