I agree with this.

Like Colin & Chris I to believe that Indiana Jones will be an Xbox exclusive.

Love the show boys...a note on Indiana Jones, given that it’s Machine developing and that the teaser was in first person I believe Indy will be first person. Also considering the devs addition to grappling in Doom, they could fairly easily make that a whip. Lastly first person avoids paying the facial rights to Harrison Ford. Just a few thoughts.

I'm haven't owned an Xbox since the 360, but I legit just joined this Patreon for this show. I just really like the chemistry between Matty and Karak.

He said “ Head Hunter” and from the depths of my memory came the main character’s sun glasses...

Just some constructive criticism and you can ignore it if you want but there is a lot of swearing in these episodes. I get that everyone gets excited sometimes and it happens. But I feel it throws off the podcast when it’s done excessively and sounds a little unprofessional. I love ACGs reviews and want to listen to the podcast. And not trying to say “No swearing at all”. Just some moderation. If that’s the style of the show that’s fine but I will likely have to bow out. Again just some constructive criticism and don’t want anyone to get offended. Just telling you guys what I like and don’t like. Thanks,

Context Should Matter

It seems appropriate to name the bonus show Defining Duke Gold to play off of Plus.

Really interesting content and discussion. I've listened to the first three episodes now and have enjoyed hearing more about what is going on in the Xbox universe. However, I'm not sure how much longer I'll keep listening. Karak tends to do one of my pet peeves, which is claiming he "guarantees" or "100% knows" things that are actually just conjecture. It's pretty prevalent throughout the show, occurring at least once in every discussion topic. I’m not opposed to being adamant about your gut feelings, and Colin has historically been insistent that he is correct. However, he often begins or ends with a statement that he may be wrong, or presenting it as a guess. Anyways, I’ll give it a few more episodes, but not sure I can keep going. Feel free to take or leave my comments. Good luck in the future.

I usually grind rewards to the tune of about $20 of xbox credit a month. Some people get way more. Main things I do: 1) Before buying a game, always check to see if there are bonus rewards for getting it. Most AAA new releases offer about 6000 points (around $6) for purchase, along with the normal 1200 points you get for it. Have to activate the punch card before you purchase, though. 2) Daily Set. I do this on my phone in the morning. Usually check out a website, do a quiz, and take a single question survey (30-70 points daily plus bonuses for streaks). 3) Bing searches. Get bing on phone. Do a bing search of anything, click "news" for that item and scroll down. It adds up as it refreshes. Then do bing searches on desktop. I usually do click on the featured news articles (270 points daily). 4) Weekly Set. Similar to Daily set, but found on Rewards app on the Xbox. It'll give you a few things to do that week (500 points plus bonuses for streaks). 5) Achievements and game pass quests. There are a number of ways to maximize these, but I just get the ones that come naturally.

Loving the show guys, Theres just something about the dulcet tone of both your voices that sure make it easy to also love myself while listening. keep on keeping on.

Here’s hoping one day we can have a liquid PlayStation podcast and watch the two do battle on top of a giant robot.

Defining Duke 360 or X would actually be a good name for a bonus show ala Sacred Symbols plus.

What about PC sales or the push for Gamepass as a streaming service ala Stadia on different TVs and mobile devices. Not to mention that Microsoft is seemingly interested in bolstering their catalog and that they have one of the largest companies in the world behind them. As stated, Microsoft has already made that 7 billion from the Zenimax acquisition in other fields. I just don't see Microsoft not making a console exclusive out of many of their newly acquired IPs and products by these studios.

You sai Phil and Larry, why not call Jeff Rubenstein (not sure I wrote it right) He works at MS now and before that launched the PS blogcast, I bet he is more accessible and been around the industry and worked for both companies.

Loving the show, glad we have a solid Xbox podcast

Can’t say I agree with halo 2 not holding up. I have no nostalgia for the multiplayer but I’m very impressed how fast and fluid the gameplay is for a 2004 title

Stephen Forgione

Just played through the entire Gears series, and it holds up fantastically. That series is good/great from beginning to end. I also just played through the Halo series, and I don’t think Halo 1&2 hold up well. I think people that don’t have nostalgia for the old days would have a hard time playing them. I actually have no real connection with Chief, so him not being in 5 didn’t bother me at all. I think it’s a pretty solid entry.

Name it Defining Duke 360 to keep with Xbox's terrible naming traditions.

Thank you once again for an amazing episode, keep up the great work!

Absolutely going to be on ps5. Microsoft wants money 💰. They aren't going to make that 7 billion back solely on gamepass subs, so they will release it on the largest console platform which is playstation.

larry Seitz

You can accumulate Microsoft Rewards points by completing daily quests, weekly quests, daily and weekly activities on edge search engine, and also bing searches. There's so many ways, plus achievements are integrated into it as well!

Anthony J Sanchez

That intro is clean!
