A note on Indiana Jones, given that it’s Machine developing and that the teaser was in first personI believe Indy will be first person. Also considering the devs addition to grappling in Doom, they could fairly easily make that a whip. Lastly first person avoids paying the facial rights to Harrison Ford. Just a few thoughts.

Colin your anti hype machine talk inspired me...I went through and deleted podcasts from any outlet that I realized hosted let’s plays and such with devs days after “reviewing” their games. ie Easy Allies, What’s Good Games and Kinda Funny. Furthermore it hit me like a ton of bricks that I’ve also seen these folks onstage at EA and 2k events at E3 and other events. They are the bullhorn of the Hype-machine. Stay awesome.

Miles Morales had bespoke features on PS5 like fast loading and ray traced reflections, and yet it’s still a cross generation game. Although it might in some cases, I don’t think us PS4 peasants getting the same games as you will take away from your experience too much Colin.

I’m with you on that Massive game turning out great. The Division with droids and laser pew pews? Hell yes. To go against Chris’ point: From what I’ve seen GTA V on 360 looks way better than Cyberpunk on PS4. It’s not strictly a frame rate issue. The pop-in and bugs there look ridiculous. I’m sure you’ve seen the screenshots of characters with no faces. Based on that PR video and Jason S’ article, I’d be fine calling CDPR’s management liars and fully manipulating the situation just to get the quick cash in.

The blue is looking beautiful this week. Re trophies. I have said for years they should replace multiplayer trophies when a server is shut. I hope it does happen in the future. Three us loads of ps3 trophies I can no longer get. Specifically motorstorm pacific rift. (will never happen, I know) I wanted to play it again a few months ago but the trophy hunter in me said no.

I’ve been administering the vaccine to healthcare workers in Upstate SC for a few weeks, now. We’re supposed to be getting our high-risk patients vaccinated in the coming weeks, and the general population is supposed to be getting it sometime in March. Of course, that’s all subject to change.

Hey guys! I’ve never played an MMO either but, just like the fine fellow that wrote in, I’ve put 40+ hrs into FFXIV in the last week and I gotta say... it’s fucking awesome. I’m sure you don’t have as much free time as I do though, having just been furloughed, so wanted to make sure you knew about “preferred servers” that give you something like a 70% exp boost, allowing you to learn the game (you can also skip ahead to lvl 70 but I feel like I’d have been totally lost gameplay wise) but also skip a shit ton of fetch quests, I didn’t know about this and am stuck on a normal server and the grind is very real. Also, you mentioned last week you wanted to try a white mage and I’ve since found out that’s a great idea as without a dedicated healer in your party you can wait upwards of 15 minutes to enter the dungeons. Really excited to see if you and Micah enjoy it at all as I’ve been shocked at how much Ive enjoyed it with no MMO experience or even desire to try one before lockdowns 😂
