Always appreciating the chemistry you three got going on here. It's a delight to listen to weekly, especially right now with many of our social lives still axed. I agree with Chris on FF7R. It's not fair to get a AAA game of this caliber and that's less than a year old for $10 (PS+ for a month) and then have the audacity to assume you can get the PS5 version for free (or $10). I'm of the mind that FF7R shouldn't even really be a free ps+ game right now, it's too high of a value for that and it isn't that old. Granted, it is only for a month.

Thanks for answering Colin, Appreciate it. You are right about studio prices being too high at the moment, Bethesda in particular was very high. So maybe they are biding their time till their hard earned cash can go further. I do get super anxious when I see how things are in Japan though and the amount MSFT are investing.

They could do a lot of things; it's a matter of what's for sale. I think Sony likes their position right now. Their passive moves have actually worked out fairly well; it's if and when Microsoft gets organized that they should be worried, but even then, they have several years until that can even happen.

All this consolidation all over the industry..... and PlayStation losing Zenimax support and Quantic Dream, Supermassive etc exclusives along with losing a lot of ground to Nintendo in Japan and possibly in Europe...... It's time for Sony to stop being so tight, they have 46 billion cash and nearly no debt. They could take 4 billion debt and 4 billion cash and buy 51% of Square and 51% of Capcom and just control their content and benefit from their share of profits. It also seems to me that Jim Ryan has no idea what he is doing, he just seems to emulate the Xbox strategy, which is not a winning strategy..... they need to be looking to Nintendo or to someone with some actual ideas.

I just wanted to fill you in on your inquiry on games like FF7 Remake on PS+ that still charge for the PS5 Upgrade. Hitman 2016 did the same thing. I downloaded it many months ago on PS+ and when I tried to access it on PS5 I was prompted to by the game at full price of $60 (which is absurd for a game that is nearly 5 years old!). So yeah, I imagine this is going to be common with a lot more games going forward. Also, the HDMI 2.1 cables are only necessary if you are using 8K/60fps or 4K/120fps. You may not need to worry about upgrading those yet.

Just got to the end of the episode, I'm loving how lengthy they are (that's what she said). But this comment is for the guy with the HDMI ports question. Don't use switchers! Doesn't matter how good they claim to be it'll downgrade your image, it's not worth it. If he has a HDMI being used up for a sound bar the soundbar usually has another HDMI port on it for you to plug a device into it. My 4K player plugs into my sound bar and the sound bar plugs into the TVs HDMI 2 slot, which is usually the ARC slot (best slot for sound bars). Hope this helps, and Colin I know all this is probably Klingon to you so I apologise 😂you don't have to respond to this comment, you already replied to one of comments here earlier. It must take you hours replying to everyone!

Funny thing, I'm actually playing Generation Zero on one monitor and have the Sacred Symbols video on the other! Got it "free" in my Humble Bundle monthly a while back and finally getting around to it. I thought of suggesting it to you in one of your polls to the audience on Twitter because you enjoy when games are set outside of the US and it feels like a more desolate Far Cry in a lot of ways. You're right though, it's fine, but I could never REALLY recommend it to anyone.

Alright boys, replying to homeboy's dream about sleeping with his friends girl. DO NOT tell the girls. I've been there dead ass same scenario and I haven't spoken to my old friend or his now ex in 5 years now. It got horny, pictures were shared but eventually jealousy will ruin everything.
