I have a lot of difficulty understanding why people think Gamepass is the worst thing, or even care why other people use it- sounds a little pretentious to say someone is "stumbling" because they only look forward to 1-2 games a year... like sorry I don't want to buy every new thing that comes out? No offense, but that bit sounded so pretentious. I could make a bad argument about how if gaming is a "life style" someone is "serious" about then they would care about more than just new releases. And enough developers have come out and spoken about how the service has benefited them. I think people are just in denial, or maybe not used to the idea of Sony having an actual competitor after a generation and then some of being on top. Like damn, nobody's holding a gun to anyone's head to use gamepass. I buy most of my games but have also used the service like 2-3 times and enjoyed it. (I even buy games that are on the service because I'd rather keep them. Crazy to be flexible, right?) Not trying to sound like a dick but that was a crazy take indeed. You're certainly better at handling them than I would be, Matty.

I know having many podcasts isn't easy and you do a really good job for sure better than I would. And it's good to hear your working onnmaking everything better with the feedback me and other patreons are sending in. That for me is a reason to always keep supporting. Maybe the podcasts isn't always perfect and it can't be but the energy, motivation and your way of dealing with feedback is what will always make a difference. Keep it up 👍

I usually skip solo podcasts in general but always listen to yours. I think that's as big a compliment as I can give.

Acg does have less energy but the alternative being two 112% Matty types could break time-space. As for the rambling, I understand where the criticism comes from, but I think you do need to explore a bit to find the gems sometimes. Things can go on too long but I wouldn’t change it. Also, last stand offers the best value in a Patreon I’ve seen. It’s banana cakes.

I like Matty’s banter with Karak but i get a little bummed when he isn’t really prepared for the different segments on the main show. Like backwards compatibility picks that aren’t actually BC on Xbox series x (toy soldiers:Cold War) just detracts from the main show.

They need to step it up and quit resting on their previous gen success. Xbox came to play this generation.
