It absolutely got the Sony bump. That game.. you basically experience everything it has to offer in the first hour or 2. It's insanely repetitive. Not a terrible game... Maybe a 6/10 at best

This is how I feel now. I can’t speak to maybe liking him someday. Just want them (the LSM team) know that’s how I feel because I’m their customer. I also get the sense that it’s hard to give feedback on Patreon because inherently we’re fans of the brand but I think there’s still some growing potential. Especially with Defining Duke

I think ACG can be abrasive but he has grown on me. I like his attitude of kinda not really giving a f*ck in the sense that he will say what he thinks and usually supports it well. I also thinks he has a hard exterior but is kidding most of the time and actually does care.

I completely agree with ACG when he says there is bias in the industry towards Sony and Nintendo. I don't agree with the Days Gone example he used but I agree when he says that the industry would have worshipped Ori and Cuphead if they had come out as Sony exclusives. There seemed to be a lot of people who did not give two shits about those games until they came to other platforms. Also, Nintendo's Metacritic scores for its games? They are laughably high. I love Breath of the Wild man but its one of the highest rated games of all time. Colin even has stated Nintendo gets unreal high review scores.

Hey I don't know if it's just me but ACG just isn't cutting it for me lately. I like when people have "irreverent takes" and disagree with what the mainstream is saying IF it's argued well... Most of the time I'm just thinking he's high as a kite honestly. Mainly due to his weird rants that most of the time have nothing to do with the question that Matty asked him. I also don't see the "chemistry" that Matty mentioned in the first episode but as long as he (Matty) has someone to bounce his ideas off of, I'm ok with it.

He can be critical of Microsoft and still throwing red meat. In this instance he is saying Days Gone got better reviews than it deserved because Sony made it and outlets had a bias. Thing is Days Gone reviews were at like 6 out of 10 because the launch version needed a day 1 patch. My point is the red meat here is giving life to the “Sony Bump” theory.

ACG (Karak is how it is spelled - his real name is Jeremy) regularly shits all over The Medium and The Master Chief Collection on this Xbox podcast. On the episode about Microsoft maybe buying Discord, he went on a "rant" about how he doesn't trust Microsoft (it was pretty good imo). The idea that he is cynically throwing out red meat to Xbox fanboys is absurd. I'm not arguing that he is right about the Days Gone reviews, and it is cool to disagree with him on that. I'm just saying that it is his honest opinion, and that he isn't fanboying Xbox. Look at his YT channel if you want to see his adoration for Sony titles like Horizon Zero Dawn and Ghost of Tsushima.

“Days Gone got a bump in reviews because it’s Sony.” Really a gross point to try and make by ACG Karac or whatever your name is. But hey it’s an Xbox podcast and that’s some real red meat.
