Sacred Symbols+, Episode 105: The Blue Box Conspiracy
Added 2021-07-21 04:37:54 +0000 UTCAt this point, you've certainly heard about "Blue Box" and all of the weirdness surrounding their upcoming PlayStation 5 game. We can't avoid it on our show -- we cover PlayStation, after all -- but it's also true that we refuse to dodge the subject. It's too god damn strange, there's way too much suggesting there's more than meets the eye here, and we want to hash it all out. Thus, we thought we'd conduct an episode with a simple premise: Lay out all of the Blue Box-related evidence and assess, once and for all, just what the hell is going on here. Is Hasan Kahraman actually Hideo Kojima. We have no idea, but it's not exactly insane to think so, and it's not weird to wonder if Sony itself is miles-deep into these muddy waters, too. No one has ever heard of Hasan Kahraman, or met him, or worked with him. And his first name just happens to be Hideo when translated from Turkish to Japanese. Nothing to see here!

What if this goes all they way back to the Game Awards 2016 when Geoff announced that 'Konami's lawyer wouldn't let Hideo travel" to accept the award? Maybe Hideo actually left Konami amicably to create his own studio and this *bad blood* between them was all a part of the ARG. #TrustNoOne

Is he making the spiritual successor to PT because he can’t officially make a silent hill game? The whole S and L beginning and ending to the name could apply to that theory as well in terms of how it sounds not spelled. So much! My head is spinning!

2021-07-21 11:43:13 +0000 UTCI also find it very odd that there was a rumored big playstation e3 style event coming in July and it was apparently delayed just like the trailer thing for Abandoned. Also wasn't it Kojima around the PT time that said he wanted his game to tie in with social media some way and mess with people that way. This all seems very similar. If this is all not true and just a game, Sony should have stepped in and said so.
