Hello everyone,

it's been a long time since the last update, so let's start with some news.

Starting from this version, DAR is gonna be compatible with TKMM, so from now DAR will come as a .tkcl file. This means that you need TKMM mod manager to be able to use DAR.

The great advantage of using TKMM is to be able to use more mods at the same time, in a easy way and without conflicts.

Here you can download TKMM.

Compatibility with TKMM also means that I've been finally able to add around 20 Install Options to customize your experience.

Those Install Options are available just for Patreons and they include options like Random Spawning Enemies Rate, Player Stats Customization and many more.

I've rebalanced the Random Spawning System so now there are 4 levels of enemies rank, those levels will auto scale completing Sages Temples, meaning that the more Sages Temples you complete, the higher the enemies rank will be.

Patreons will have 4 different options for Random Spawning System Rate, and they are gonna be toggleable as a TKMM option.

More enemies variety, now Wizzrobes will randomly spawn as Yigas, from the begin!

The difficulty has been rebalanced in general, so let's say it's more playable even if there are gonna be some situations with a lot of enemies to face at the same time, after all this mod has been designed to be 'The Most Painful Zelda Experience' so... GIT GUD!

The mod has been tested on Switch and on Suyu Emulator and it works on both platform.

   Added Stal Bokoblin Boss

After you defeat a Bokoblin Boss, there is a chance that a Stal Bokoblin Boss appears, the higher is the Bokoblin Boss Rank, the higher is the propability to resurrect.

Thanks to PotatoeFried17 for creating the Stal Bokoblin Boss model and for giving me the permission to add it to DAR.

   Added Random Wizzrrobes

Wizzrobes will now randomly spawn everywhere on the map

   Added Random Yigas

Yigas will now randomly spawn everywhere on the map from the begin of the game, including Yiga Soldiers. After Defeating Master Khoga, Yigas spawns will increase.

   ROTP Shield Surf

Added ROTP shield surf to improve mobility, you can toggle this through Campfire Options.

   Campfire Rest Options

Added Two Campfire Rest Options:

Both options are disabled by default, you can enable them through Campfire Options

   Stal Lynels Overhauled

Stal Lynels life has been decreased to 1000

   Armored Lynels Resurrections

After you defeat an Armored Lynel, there is a chance that a Stal Lynel appears, the higher is the Armored Lynel Rank, the higher is the propability to resurrect.

   Regular Enemies have a small chanche to drop Huge Stars

Regular Enemies (Bokoblin, Lizalfos, Moriblin, Horablin, Bokoblin Boss) now have a small chance to drop Huge Stars, in order to have more chance to survive to Punitve Death and Punitive Moon.

   Improved First Chest content

When you start a new game, the first chest you'll open will be unlocked, and its content it's been improved, now you gonna get 3 Random Weapons, 1 Random Upper Armor and 1 Random Lower Armor.

   Improved Extreme Punitive Death and Punitive Moon Systems 

When you die using Extreme Punitive Death or after a Blood Moon if you are using Extreme Punitive Moon, you'll lose all your items in the invetory, included Weapons and Armor but now a full weapon set (Sword, Large Sword, Spear, Shield, Bow and 20 arrows) will be given, depending on how many Temples you have completed:

After dying, you also gonna get spacial weapons related on the Temples you have completed:

Also the first chest you gonna open will contain 3 Random Weapons, 1 Random Upper Armor and 1 Random Lower Armor.

   Added Starting Options to Start with Weapons Sets

When you start a new game, you'll be asked if you want to start with one of the 5 main different weapons sets. You can choose to start with Traveller's Set, Soldier's Set, Knight's Set, Royal's Set or Royal Guard's Set.

   Random Enemies Spawning System Reworked

I have rewritten from scratch the Random Spawning System, trying to balance it, so now playing in Scaling Mode will work like that:

Playing in Scaling Mode is highly recommended, however you can also choose to play Hardcore Mode where all enemies spawned will be at their higher rank.

   Added Custom Armor Models for Golden Enemies

When playing with DAR and Challenge Mode, Golden Armored Enemies will have a Custom Armor Models, Lynel Armor has 4000 Life, and Bokoblin Armor has 1000 Life.

   01 - Player Attack

Here you can choose to customize your Attack, you'll find 5 different options:

Attack +50%, +25%, -25%, -50% or Double Damage

To use original values, do not select anything.

Here you can choose to customize your Defence, you'll find 4 different options:

Defence +50%, +25%, -25% or -50%

To use original values, do not select anything.

   03 - Player Movement Speed

Here you can choose to customize your Movement Speed, you'll find 5 different options:

Speed+50%, +20%, +10% (Suggested), +5% or Double Speed

To use original values, do not select anything.

   04 - Player Climb Speed

Here you can choose to customize your Climb Speed, you'll find 5 different options:

Speed+50%, +20% (Suggested), +10%, +5% or Double Speed

   05 - Player Swim Speed

Here you can choose to customize your Swim Speed, you'll find 5 different options:

Speed+50%, +20%, +10%, +5% or Double Speed

   06 - Player Moveset

Since DAR introduces a brand new Attack Moveset based on Random Combos, Limited Flurry Rush and Easy Parries, here you can choose to customize your Attack Moveset, you'll find 8 different options. To use original Moveset, do not select anything.

   07 - Link Attack Knockback

Here you can choose to customize your Attack Effect on enemies, since in the original game you can stop enemies attacks animations just by hitting them, this won't happen anymore, making fights more interesting.

Here you'll find 4 different options to customize this aspect and add some more spice to your fights:

Original Knockback, Knockback on Combo Finishers and Flurry Rush, Knockback Only on Flurry Rush or No Knockback. To use original Knockback, do not select anything.

   08 - Miscellaneous

Here you'll find some mixed option to customize more your experience, following your gameplay syle.

   09 - Random Spawning Rate - Regular Enemies

Here you can choose to customize the Regular Enemies Spawning Rate, in case you are playing DAR alongside Challenge Mode, you can select one of the Challenge Mode option to make Golden Enemies randomly spawn. You'll find 8 different options:

Very High Rate, High Rate, Normal Rate, Low Rate and same options for Challenge Mode.

To disable Regular Enemies Spawning, do not select anything.

   10 - Random Spawning Rate - Lynels

Here you can choose to customize the Lynels Spawning Rate, in case you are playing DAR alongside Challenge Mode, you can select one of the Challenge Mode option to make Golden Lynels randomly spawn. You'll find 8 different options:

Very High Rate, High Rate, Normal Rate, Low Rate and same options for Challenge Mode.

To disable most Lynels Spawning, do not select anything.

   11 - Random Spawning Rate - Mini Bosses

Here you can choose to customize the Mini Bosses Spawning Rate, you'll find 4 different options:

Very High Rate, High Rate, Normal Rate, Low Rate or No Mini Bosses

To disable Mini Bosses Spawning, do not select anything.

   12 - Random Spawning Areas

Here you can choose the areas where the Random Spawning System is active.

Everywhere, means that enemies can spawn everywhere including villages, sky island, etc (NOTE: may cause random crashes on switch).

To use original Spawning Areas, do not select anything.

CHALLENGE MODE COMPATIBILITY PATCH

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This mod is compatible with Challenge Mode, just install the Compatibility Patch included in DAR zip file, then make sure your 3 mods are sorted in this order:

Gold Enemies will randomly spawn after you complete 3 Temples and they can drops Chest Keys, Huge Stars and resurrect.

 Challenge Mode weapons have been added in the random chests pool, strongest weapons are available after you complete 2 Sages Temples.
