He's an interesting cat: An 'everyday retail worker' with a very sharp mind who deeply analyzes the gaming industry's sales trends and data to great effect. He and I (Colin!) have struck up an online friendship, and I've really enjoyed reading and listening to what he has to say. So obviously, I just had to invite him to Sacred Symbols+. On this episode, we delve into the Big Three: Nintendo, Microsoft, and of course Sony. What is each doing right and wrong, and what can we expect from them in the future? New games, acquisitions, and so much more. This is a really fun episode for industry nerds. Please enjoy.

It's also nice to hear an outsider that has as much passion for the space as the fans do. But, in Benji's case it's obvious that he also knows his shit. So yeah... very entertaining.

That being said, I'd like to make a suggestion if I may. A regular update purely on the business side of the industry would be a great listen. Possiblity of a quarterly update or maybe even further apart if little has happened in between. Well done gents, nailed it again!!

I really don't think Microsoft cares who they piss off externally, as long as they keep their base happy. I'd bet they're going after WB, both for more E rated games (like Lego) for Gamepass, and for a DC/Marvel split across consoles. TBH that'd be a hell of a response to that wolverine trailer. Thanks for putting out such good content on the reg!
