2021-10-06 19:07:53 +0000 UTCAnti-semitism was actually pretty common worldwide back then (including in the United States). What separated Germany from the rest of the world was the systematic extermination of the Jewish people. I've heard theories that the US actually knew about the holocaust well before the camps were liberated but chose to do nothing because 1, there was little they could do as the camps were deep behind enemy lines and 2, the state dept. had people in high places who were anti-semitic themselves. I think it's more likely that the US had tidbits of intel about what was going on but not enough to act.

Frankly the rise of anti-semitism can’t be talked about enough, and we can’t stop talking about the Holocaust. Half of the world doesn’t think it even happened. Awesome work on both ends here and I’m excited about the game.
