I personally really enjoyed 3, it was kind of over ambitious and didn't accomplish its goals quite as well. Suikoden 4 is considered to be the worst entry in the series, though it has a pretty cool intro sequence. Suikoden 5 on the other hand, is considered to be almost as good as 1 and 2. Suikoden 2 remains the best entry in the series after all this time. Suikoden Tierkreis is better than 4, but not as good as 3 or 5. I don't know what the general opinion on Web of the Century is, it was never officially translated, and I haven't played the fan translation yet. I've heard from others that Suikoden Tactics is better than Suikoden 4 upon which it is based, but I haven't played it yet.
