2024-01-18 15:19:38 +0000 UTCFinal Fantasy 9 is my favorite FF above all else. Maybe a nostalgic bias but in my opinion it is by far the most underrated FF in the entire main line series. Great character relationships, traditional and super charming, and beautiful pre-rendered artistic backgrounds.

Because I understand not wanting to spoil games (Especially new games) I'm seeing some people already getting annoyed about it. With some games like The Last of Us Part II you really can't have an in depth conversation without getting into spoilers. If this show is gonna be the deep dives into games, maybe have the games put into a Spoiler and non-Spoiler order? Gene, you rule

2024-01-17 12:00:50 +0000 UTCDeath stranding is one of those games that I blinked and 5 hours were gone. I built an entire highway. Then it disintegrated over time because of the rain. The first time I killed someone all hell broke loose and I never did that again lol. It was super immersive and I was on the edge of my seat the entire game.

I understand some people like to hear discussions of games they haven't played without fear of being spoiled, but to demand that from this show seems a bit selfish. People say save it for the spoilercasts, but that would prevent in-depth discussion of older games, as it's highly unlikely we'll get a spoilercast for a 9-year-old game like MGSV.

2024-01-16 22:37:28 +0000 UTCI don’t disagree with you, but every 1 or 2 of us that don’t care, there’s probably 10 or so that freak out at them when they hear a spoiler outta nowhere. I think they can just tell people they’ll be spoiling the game for the next 30 seconds or so. I know doing another time code just for the spoiler is probably too much work.

A good thing about watching this show is hearing about games I didn’t want to try or perhaps games I should go back to. It is difficult to jump around the podcast trying to avoid spoilers :)
