Is ff7 harder to play than ffx? I recently beat ffx and did not find it very fun. It was extremely long in the last act and the save points/random encounters was just very antiquated

Online stuff is just nowhere NEAR the same experience. I'm glad we have it at least, but nothing is better than that energy. I miss the trash talk too.

I too had no nostalgia for FF7 and was told to start with the OG, then the Remake, then Crisis Core. I skipped the OG and went into 7 Remake then Crisis Core because friends told me I’d spoil some stuff. After just beating Crisis Core I ABSOLUTELY DISAGREE with their suggestion! If you’re new, play Crisis Core first. It’s honestly the play. Also, Cloud sucks and Zack is infinitely better.

Brad is on point and is totally in sync with my personal recommendation on enjoying the Remake trilogy to the fullest: 1. OG 1997 2. Crisis Core 3. Advent Children Complete 4. Dirge of Cerberus (honestly just watch a YouTube video) 5. Remake 6. Rebirth You can brief yourself a bit on Before Crisis, but there were 2 references in Remake on Before Crisis and they were Easter eggs at best. This is the way.
