So naturally, Japan comes up often on our shows, but being that we’re all from the United States, our perspective is limited. So I (Dustin) decided to invite Genki onto the show to talk all about the Japanese perspective on the industry. Genki has been rising in popularity on Twitter over the past few years, sharing Japanese gaming-focused news, stats, photos, and more. So join us as we discuss PlayStation's shift away from their home market, Japan’s preference for physical games, Nintendo’s dominance, and other topics surrounding where many of our favorite games originate. It falls into that category of color characters for sure. Like Im also sure the final fantasy crossover they did was not just for the Americas, but for Japan too!

I entered around 15 over the course of a year+ and didn’t win a single one, it was insane. Dark times indeed. Anyway, great show and awesome choice of a guest in Genki to bring some valued Japanese insight! Love what you guys do, keep it up!
