I had this finished, and almost sent it off for sound. I couldn't stand the fire lighting, though. It was too soft, and too bright, and not random enough. I spent some time studying different fire videos online, and realized that the problem was the fire's lack of randomness. I also figured out you can't achieve the effect with just one light, either. So, the render ended up taking way longer due to it, but I used quite a few different lights to get the more realistic fire lighting effect.

Thanks. The model is very, very old, and I think Kaeg made the choice to block it because it was just so bad. Him and I both love Xana so much that I plan to get the model updated down the road, whether I hire someone or learn to do it myself.
