Finally caught up to this episode and Colin, your sci-fi show idea is similar (sorry Jaffe, don't hate me!) to season two of The OA on Netflix which I think is a show you'd really dig. Part of the premise of the season is that this man has kidnapped people and is forcing them into near-death experiences as he believes it's the key to traveling to parallel dimensions. Very heady show.

We have a problem with race swapped characters not just white ones, poorly written shoehornd shit. give me more lee Everetts from tell tales the walking dead and less saga Anderson from alan wake 2. The two best written game characters of all time lee and clem are both black, male and female and universality loved. But gamers are racist and dont want this in our games apparently
