Did y’all know Matty voice acted in odd world soulstorm

Carter Evenson

I'm jealous haha, these people have vr level of connection to their screens 🤣

@Lockmort

But if Chris doesn't like it, then it shouldn't be there!

Bailey Callis

Can't wrap his head around the fact that cards just aren't interesting to a lot of us including Brad 😅

I reckon 2 per week is the best way to release TV shows on streaming. My mind goes to The Last Dance and, while it may be because that's one of my favourite shows of all time, I felt getting 2 episodes for five Mondays was enough to keep the conversation going and also enough to chew on for a week. It was perfect

Is anyone familiar with psychological displacement? For example, a husband yells at his wife, the wife kicks the dog, the dog bites the cat, the cat scratches the child, the child pulls the head off her doll. I feel like that's what's happening with Colin->Dustin->Brad. #DisplacementGate

Kevin Cooper

Wasn’t familiar with Brad before he joined but this has become my favourite show by far

Dan Morgan

Imagine publicly writing into a podcast about how you’re too scared to play resident evil

Ryan

I’m also heavily addicted to Balatro, it’s replaced Slay The Spire as my go to game to play while listening to podcasts. By the way, the round score in Balatro catches fire when your score from a single hand exceeds the blind target for the round, for anyone who wondered how that works.

Alex Roberts

I just don’t understand all these grown adults that find horror games too scary to even play. Come on!

Noah Friscopp

Lol Dustin I got lost in the exact same way as you in Chrono Trigger

Oh boy, I didn't actually expect my comment to get read out haha. I have sent in comments in various different ways to other LSM shows before but never been read out before so I didn't put much thought into my post this time. In hindsight that was pretty dumb because I posted it to get read out. Let me clear some things up a bit. The foreshadowing of items and their use in sekiro was referring to having a comprehensive explanation of their use in the menu system, as well as them being discovered at specific times when you would need them. An example of this would be finding the flames just before you fight the bull and the description mentions its effectiveness against beasts. Foreshadowing it's use much like a lot of other games done but in my experience, from software games have really failed to do up until that point. My disappointment in elden ring came from me playing though that game and being as confused about that as I was in demon's souls, bloodborne and dark souls, where I had to consult with people who had already played/the Internet. I had found myself playing through sekiro and never once had to question an item's use case. I understand that I could have missed some sufficient explanation for the weapons and items in elden ring but if it was there it wasn't signposted very well at all. My main point in the comment was about sekiro being the easiest from software game which, as Dustin pointed out, when you figure out how the game wants you to play, it is so much easier than any other fromsoft game. Even when you play the others how they want you to play, they are still punishingly difficult. Sure you may not gel with sekiro's combat but you can only flounder for so long before figuring it out, and from then on it is by far the easiest from software game. Apologies for the messy comment, but thank you for choosing mine for the show, I do appreciate it. I won't comment again unless I take the time to write out a much more thoughtful post about my thoughts. I may not ever write again haha.

Here’s why they dropped fallout all at once: they tested on audience who don’t know anything about Fallout and they all got bored within the first four episodes BECAUSE THEY ARE BORING, poorly paced and next to nothing happens in these episodes even though they’ve moved around A LOT! The show doesn’t have an actual hook that brings about a response from the viewer until the brother starts investigating the neighboring vault. The last 3 episodes of this show saved it. Most people wouldn’t get to those without the binging factor. And thank god it’s there, all people would be talking about for the next three weeks are weapons you see in the games that are in the show

CUMSoftware

Brad , the Beetlejuice musical is fantastic and hilarious

Logan Price

Next time Chris tells that story of the murderers TV to someone I want him to tell them that this is a murderers CRT TV and when they ask where he got it from he can reply "I bought it new from best buy"

Zac

Listening today gonna be a banger.

Michael Welter

If nobody clips from around 16:46-16:53 and uses that, i’m going to be so annoyed.

Cormac

I find Souls games too difficult and time-consuming so I am definitely interested in RotR. Great to hear you're enjoying it.

PRETENTIEUX

I like to use an emulator that I downloaded for free on my 6-year-old laptop. The image quality is awesome and the games play with essentially no input lag these days. Pretty much any game you can think of up through PS2 also now has a set of unlockable achievements just like a game on Steam. The progression and unlock thing even pops up when you accomplish something. Highly recommend RetroArch and www.retroachievements.org You can set up an account there and track your progress in retro games along with others.

PRETENTIEUX

Dam destiny 2 talk but no cog 😭

Tyee

Still surprised that neither Dustin or Chris have tried Rise of the Ronin. It might be a little difficult for Colin (at first anyway). Ignore the graphics, focus on combat. It’s a very good game.

Matt

I love how relaxed Chris feels and sounds on Summon Sign. Love the different feel on these

Christopher Gourley

I traded in my GameCube with like 30 games for a Xbox 360 and Bioshock. I still have no regrets because Bioshock if one of the greatest experiences of all time IMO.

Michael Mashpotato

Colin seems so chill this episode of SS

Caleb Peacock

Saying destiny should get rid of PvP altogether is craaaazy

Ryan

Thank you so much for the nourishing, freshly squeezed, weeb milk. I'm going to jump on Dragon Quest XI.

Deadboy.Brews

Retrotink has been a great option for retro gaming without having to take up space for a dinosaur crt and still retain great image quality.

Zachary

"Tip Your Bartender" by Glassjaw. Give it a jam

Zack

Dustin couldn’t tolerate Colin taking five minutes to explain poker and here we go again hearing about Balatro for the third week.

Vanzant

Dustin consistently drawing the parallels to anime for the stuff Chris likes is hilarious

Brannon H

Over an hour dedicated to Sort It/Keep It, lol wtf.

PluuusRyan

The best line-up.

ByWatterson

To follow up why I think Jonathan Nolan would be great for those franchises, he’s specifically sited them as amazing stories and inspirations on the work he does.

Jared R

Don't underestimate girth

StewDog

Good girth on this summonussy

Meatball

4 and a half hours! Damn that's a big sussy we're looking at today, time to dive in
