Anyone who speaks against fishing minigames in JRPGs should be instantly banned from playing them. Dustin is a fake-japanese-role-playing fan. Fishing minigames are the soul of every JRPG. One cannot be a true JRPG without a fishing game. Dustin. Stand the f down. (I swear, the kids these days... -.-!)

2024-05-06 21:09:14 +0000 UTCI’ll add a 3rd… my dog and best friend of 10 years died (was killed) recently. A larger dog jumped into our backyard and mauled him. I spent thousands trying to save him… and almost did, but he passed. It’s been a few weeks and I’m nowhere near over it. Nigel was the best boy… I don’t think I’ll ever stop missing him. We went everywhere together (as he was ~6lbs)…. even getting into the car is harder now because he’s not sitting on the center console. He was a special little guy (which every owner says.. but he truly was)… his friends built a memorial for him at the park that I visit often, which was very kind. Keep an eye on your pups always, it only takes a few seconds to lose them forever.

2024-05-06 06:37:02 +0000 UTCWanted to add, I recognize that more recent games may have a larger playtime because of cut scenes alone (acceptable) but others fill the playtime with nonsense grind & a narrative that could be tighter.

2024-05-05 21:23:21 +0000 UTCI agree with Colin on the confusion of why JRPG’s have to keep with an unnecessary tradition (long length). Say what you will about Ni No Kuni, but I was hoping that it would kickstart shorter RPG experiences… sadly, not the case.
