2024-06-28 10:52:39 +0000 UTC100% agree with Brad and would say that everyone in LSM is capable of playing and beating Elden Ring. I consider myself a pretty unskillful player but playing with a magr build in Elden Ring makes the game so much easier it’s actually insane.

2024-06-26 02:18:33 +0000 UTCPrior to the remake, I would’ve said TTYD was one of my favorite games of all time and a must play. Played it a ton as a kid but haven’t played it since. I’m playing through the Remake now, and even with the QoL updates they’ve added, I can totally see without rose tinted glasses what Micah and Dustin have gripes with. There are certain chapters that feel like they’re padding just because, it does grow tiresome at times. The overall charm and fun I have with the battle system (especially now that my adult brain knows how to break it more easily) still keep this game in its good graces in my mind, but yeah it definitely could be tightened up, which is something I would’ve hoped the Remake would do more of in the first place.

Also the performance and boss design are fucking abysmal for some of these fights… like the Dancing lion boss thing was more about fighting the damn camera and the frame rate than the fucking boss itself. FromSoft REALLY needs to get their shit together on the performance front because some of this shit is just unacceptable for a developer as highly regarded as they are.
