They are the best in the business at it obviously, otherwise they wouldn't have such die hard fans. People want a break from the braindead bullcrap the rest of the industry is pushing.

Im near the end of the game and had almost no crystals at a boss fight. All my old bases had built up over 100 crystals each. Now I have over 1000 on deck

I nominate myself. These are great games, GREAT, but no other set of games get the leeway that Souls/ FROM does. If any other franchise did what they do in terms of difficulty, recycled animations, UI nonsense and convolution with quests, they’d be roasted and do get roasted critically for similar things. God of War Ragnarok had a 3 week news cycle because it dared to reuse one boat animation, Elden Ring uses roll animations from Demon’s Souls. Crickets

I’m a casual Souls fan (mainly just Bloodborne, Demon’s Souls, and Lies of P) but I enjoy listening to people who know what they’re talking about talk passionately the games they love. Gene and Brad, you guys are awesome as always!
