2024-07-30 16:43:08 +0000 UTCmicrosoft is so stupid, or they are being purposefully deceptive to the ftc. on what planet was someone buying gamepass basic AND xbox live both? the beauty of gamepass basic or whatever it was called is you could do gamepass day one games and be OFFLINE. if i wanna play shooters with my bros, i'd sub to gamepass ultimate. the fact that they traded online play in for day one releases is a really big rope-a-dope. i have gpu right now but once my prepaid sub ended i was actually going to downgrade to gamepass basic because i don't need online multiplayer access. i only play offline to begin with. now that that idea is gone, i'll probably just unsub entirely now and buy my single player games a la carte. the basic option has really no purpose in existing now. so yeah, they downgraded it and raised the price. mr magoo could see that.
