It’s expensive to drive on, for one. But it’s also mundane and boring, no sites to be seen, etc. I do like the service plaza stops and that they warn you when it’s gonna be awhile though.

I do find it strange that he suggests we should explore because curiosity demands it but then whoever gets there first should be able to claim it. Humanity needs to unite in space missions, humanity binds us on earth it should take us to the stars aswell.
