Aspiring level designer living in Kansas, spending my time trying to network on LinkedIn and applying for entry level jobs and working on making level design videos and personal projects to share to that network I am building. It is a rough field out there and every little bit counts. As someone who went to college but wasn't pushed into doing internships, I sadly missed the opportunity to partake in internships. Companies only really keep those opportunities open for current students and those who have graduated within a short time period so my big advice for anyone currently in school is to really go for those internships, it will save you a lot of headache later if you miss that window.
