There's a video of a Japanese guy asking people on the street in Tokyo about the casting of Ghost in the Shell. Almost everybody had a very positive reaction to her look. None of them even noticed her race. This obsession with race in America is horribly divisive when it doesn't need to be.

2022-12-21 01:33:40 +0000 UTCAbandoning PlayStation would abandon Call of Duty's biggest install base and market, eschew Sony's valuable marketing dollars which offsets their own budgets, and likely make it so that the CoD brand entered the red. These are very, very expensive games with massive headcounts. Thousands of people working on annualized projects that cost hundreds of millions of dollars. There's virtually no pipeline like it anywhere in entertainment, save maybe Disney's op, and you don't fuck with the calculus lightly. I firmly believe that -- whether Sony made a stink or not -- CoD (and other big Activision-Blizzard properties) would always be on PlayStation.

So consumers aren't really getting tired of sequels as y'all may, with playing as many games as you do so wanting something new often. I just never heard you guys bring up this point. (I'm in guy who likes dynasty warriors 2- 8) lol

2022-12-20 22:59:28 +0000 UTCI feel the same way, the last Sonic game I bought was Generations but I played it a lot as a kid on the GameCube. Frontiers is exactly what I expected it to be and I am completely happy with and am impressed by the results. It's just exhilarating and fun, it's so easy to run around, fight an enemy, run into a spring and grind and jump around for an item and then get spit right back out onto the world. Easily a great game.

2022-12-20 17:27:30 +0000 UTCeff the movie, eff the renaissance, sonic frontiers is just a really good game. great game even. it's a great open world action adventure game that should not be slept on. i haven't gotten into a sonic game since i got sonic adventure 2 in 2001, so i'm not a sonic fanboy by any means. this is just abreast game. period. not a great sonic game, but a great game. enough with the slander and eye rolls. stand. down.

2022-12-20 03:19:14 +0000 UTCColin, can I ask, what makes you so sure that CoD would stay on PlayStation, even with the deal going through? π€ If the answer is related to this move being ridiculously senseless from a financial perspective, I would only like to remind you: we are dealing with a company that for gears takes financial loses with a non profitable subscription model, relocating funds from other departments, and one that is spending 70 billion dollars on an aquisition. I don't think they are about loosing money in a short run.
