I really need to get to this as I love visual novels. I wish this game came out earlier in the year when everything was dry.

2022-12-21 18:23:59 +0000 UTChey dukes! im going to have to push back a little bit about act 2. ill try not to get spoilery for folks coming into the comments without having played the game. but at the end of act 2, i think it made sense for andreas to go back into the abbey for the books because he wasnt enjoying his life back home, twice now he had tried to stop murders and failed, and he had such an undying love for books/art. another thing that you guys mentioned was that you didnt enjoy the outcome of act 1. for me, the outcome of yours at the hearing with archdeacon was fine since the game held a lot of weight with how conversations went. brother ferenc was the abbot, which in that time period religion was so much of their lives for many people. so, i think the archdeacon made the decision that he did when you guys passed it off to him made sense because of ferencs position. archdeacon probably thought that a peasant vs an abbot wasnt an easy choice, but the decision made sense for the town/abbey. in addition, since dialogue is weighed so heavily when talking to people, making the slightest mistake in it could result in crazy outcomes. but i think living with those outcomes, with us in the midst of it all is nice, albeit can be very heavy indeed. thank you guys for doing this spoilercast! i think i liked the game a lot more than you guys, but im glad you took the time to make this ddu for us. cheers!
