I come at this completely objective, but I would love to hear a full conversation about the public discourse surrounding this game. I respect everyone's opinion and really want to hear if buying this game directly supports JK or makes the buyer transphobic. Gaming outlets have even suggested to people not to buy the game or refuse to review it. Even our friend David Jaffe (who has personal experience in the matter) has even stated that "I don't like her views on trans folks and I don't want her shit in my home." Again, I would really like to listen to a constructive conversation regarding the game, its links to the IP holder, and how buying it correlates to transphobic ideologies. Thank you for all that you do! Whether this conversation makes it in or not, I appreciate you taking the time to read every comment! :)

2023-01-18 00:21:11 +0000 UTCactually, i must correct myself. i went to one... *one* wedding where there was a meal. this was in 2002. they were both 18 years old. the meal was renaissance themed so it was a full on boar with an apple in its mouth. i don't remember the sides. but i do remember the pulled pork was pretty amazing. they annulled their marriage when they came back from honeymoon. literally like their marriage lasted shorter than. a month. moral: meals at weddings = doom for marriage.

2023-01-17 09:06:57 +0000 UTCre: weddings. when we got married in 2007, i was like what, 23? she was 22. i worked at a fast food restaurant, she worked part time at a clothing store. the wedding food was: finger sandwiches. and cake. and punch. our total cost for the entire wedding, clothing, venues, food, and rings included, was under $1000. now *that's* how you get married. now as an aside, i've been to a handful of weddings. not many. but a few. and i've never been to one that had a full blown "meal." ever. ever. i've been to weddings that have snacks. that have cake. that have finger sandwiches. never one with a legitimate actual meal. i've also never *ever* been to a wedding where any sort of alcoholic beverages were available or consumed at the reception. ever. so i think colin may be a little off base in putting that forward as the expectation. btw, we're still married. and not as broke. so that's good. 😁
