A Note About Last Stand Live In Texas

It's me, Matty. We're just 10 days from the Last Stand Media event in Texas. With things quickly approaching, I have an update I wanted to share with all of you. This isn't to make things entirely about me but after speaking with the gang we thought that it's important to get the message out as soon as possible to keep things transparent. With that, here goes nothing!
Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the event in Texas. I'll spare the details for Defining Duke so that I don't soak up too much of your time. The long and short of it is that my health continues to be an issue. For the last year and change, I have struggled heavily with balance/ear issues. From pain to falling over while sitting still, it has been quite a lot. That has only ramped up since November of last year and after seeing two separate doctors, it has been suggested I don't board a plane and travel as they fear it would magnify the issue beyond reparation as well as set back my recovery. The goal is for me to finally get better this year so these setbacks may be a thing of the past.
It goes without saying (at least for me) that this is extremely upsetting. It's very hard to put into words my current frustration level with my body, but let it serve as a reminder to focus on taking care of yourself. I'm catching up on years of neglect. You have my deepest apologies that this update arrives so close to the show. One of the greatest validations in this line of work is being able to meet those of you support what we do, shake your hand, and genuinely thank you for the love and kindness that you give us. That support has carried me through my worst days and it feels like those meetups are the times where all the hard work materializes before our very eyes. Unfortunately, those courtesies will have to wait and I'll miss all of you dearly. Until then, be well, have fun, cheer very loud, and maybe you'll even see me in other forms during the show!

You say it’s from years of neglecting your body but you’re a very young man and this seems like a rare condition. Any info would be useful to your younger listeners, no doubt.
