This was a good watch. I was a perpetual scallywag for LSM’s entire history; it’s a fitting term and I’ll revert back to one at the close of the month.

Gives me a warm feeling to watch you guys do live events. I was lucky enough to go to Sacred 200. Love seeing the community everyone has built, great show guys!

Dustin is so right about his pick. I love that series dearly but it’s a bit convoluted, confusing and overrated. I would never recommend it to anyone but I will still be there day one for the next game. What’s great show and i hope to make it to the next one. You guys are awesome.

Colin, hope you read this. When you mention The Last of Us having lower tier sales, with the utmost respect, you’re speaking about it inaccurately. TLoU part 1 hit around 26mil units sold as of 12/2022, making it the best-selling PS exclusive of all time as far as actual announced sales (though I’m certain Spider-Man 2018 has surpassed that). This number can be deduced from the update Sony gave in January that, as of 12/2022, the TLoU series had sold >37mil units. If you add (a generous) 1mil to TLoU part 2 since it was announced hitting 10mil in Spring 2022, you get 26mil for TLoU part 1. TLoU IS one of Sony’s most popular franchises. TLoU part 2, even with the leak and subsequent horrendously bad press it was getting pre-launch, became Sony’s fastest selling first party game of all time (all the way until GoW Ragnarok), selling 4mil copies in 3 days. With how Sony’s games sell long term, in a normal situation, that would have easily transitioned to >20mil sales lifetime. Sales of 4mil in 3d turning into 10mil after 2 years is a horrible multiplier, and the ONLY reason for that is the leak/bad press and people likely being upset about that character loss. All that being said, thanks for the endlessly awesome content. Long time follower of yours and a happy LSM Patron.

Faces are a bit hot IMO (exposure wise, but also you guys are HAWT!) and I probably would have thrown a light on the background behind the chairs just to give it a bit of depth but otherwise it looked pretty good! Don't mean to nitpick, but I can sympathise with Dagan being unemployed for a few months (the life of a freelance camera guy) so I need to keep myself busy with something lol

I think people heavily overlook how bad the ending to Bioshock is. The final boss really kills my enjoyment to an otherwise top tier game. My pick for most overrated game, however, would be Metal Gear Solid 4. It is so convoluted and ludicrous. It's filled with bad jokes and the combat is completely bland. It has no unique or ground breaking moments like the previous entries. It's an absolute nothing of a game.

peple don't actually like altered beast on the genesis. it has a shitty rep in the community. probably should have went with breath of the wild just becuase thats an interesting conversation and it's genuinely beloved as one of tge great games of all time. Also, mario 64 controls so damn well in comparison to every other 3d game at the time. It's astounding how much nintendo figured 3d gaming out with that first title.
