Love the new show! Great job all and love Micah’s laugh and Dagan’s old school take on Nintendo’s earlier games. Gene knowledge and Nintendo love adds a ton and Dustin does a great job keeping the show feeling light and fun.

I do most of my gaming on PC or Switch. The games you talk about in your PlayStation and Xbox shows usually make it to PC, so I enjoyed those shows. Adding a Nintendo podcast pushed me to finally become a patron. Thanks for covering it!

Just my two pennies... But I think the Punching Up logo would look better without the bricks. The bricks work well for the animation, but as a static image I think it would fit in better on the LSM masthead without the bricks (as none of the other logos have 3D components). Again, just a [constructive] thought to consider.

If you think the names of some anime are long winded just look at the names of some of the formulaic crime/detective novels (especially the ones with like 15 books in a series). They can be among my favorite guilty pleasure reads but still, pretty fucking ridiculous

I loved every bit of it! The variety between all four of you and I love Dustin’s vibe. The quizzes are hilarious and keep me listening imo. It’s a nice shakeup for sure. This is absolutely nuts. Went wild today when I saw it hit my feed - totally unexpected. I haven't touched my Switch in about a year, but this show is exactly what I needed, and the host lineup is terrific. I would have been psyched to get a Dustin-hosted Nintendo show with ONE of Dagan, Micah, or Gene... And instead, we get all three as regulars?! The mind reels. Fully expect that this show will pull me back into the Nintendo ecosystem the way that Sacred Symbols has entrenched me in PlayStation over the last few years. 80 Platinums and counting.

As a lifelong Nintendo gamer from the NES to the Switch, it truly warms my heart that Last Stand has started a Nintendo podcast! There’s SO much history behind the brand and so many legendary IP’s, characters (both on-screen and in the boardroom), so many stories, especially in the 16-bit “Console Wars” generation. Plus with the recent huge success of the Super Mario Bros. movie and release of the game of the year The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, plus news of a Switch 2 or “Switch Pro” coming sooner than later and it’s an exciting time to be a Nintendo fan! Colin always said there's not enough news to cover Nintendo weekly, but if SpawnWave can basically do a 20 minute show every day covering mostly Nintendo things, it shouldn't be an issue for Last Stand to do it every other week! SpawnWave is a bit fanboyish though and doesn't know how to criticize Nintendo properly, and that's what I appreciate about Sacred is how they call out PlayStation. I'm so excited for this!
