Ken was kind enough to join me (Colin) on Sacred Symbols+ for an extensive and wide-ranging conversation, one that touches on his history, his games, his studios, his creative approach, and his mantra as a writer and director. It's been a decade since Mr. Levine has launched a new title; it's hard to believe BioShock is nearly 16 years old, while BioShock Infinite is 10! But in his reclusion boils something new, a game called Judas, a product crafted by a small team that promises to once again turn the narrative potential of our medium on its head. What's been on the mind of one of the industry's great auteurs? What's he been up to? How does he feel about his previous games? And -- perhaps most importantly -- is he bullish or bearish on the prospects of modern storytelling?
