2023-07-17 21:06:53 +0000 UTCI recently bought the 64 Gig Steam Deck and Dock as a birthday present for myself, taking advantage of the Steam Summer Sale. I do have Game Pass Ultimate but I'm not trying to do Forza Horizon 5 at 60 on the go. Rather, I'm playing much smaller games like Vampire Survivors, Blazing Chrome and Geometry Wars, so the additional battery life and performance at low settings puts the Deck over the Ally for me. Plus, the track pads on the deck are ideal for some games, like Loop Hero, for example. I'm not too worried about the missing Game Pass functionality and if you have a big backlog of Steam Games like I do, you may not care about that either. In any case, the Deck gets a big recommendation from me and I'll definitely be checking out Jimmy's channel. Thanks for the great content.
