If you recognize this video from just the screenshot, then you'll know you are in for a heck of a ride!
This is the first full length video I have done where the camera moves fully on its own. I have adjusted it as much as possible, as quickly as possible, to ensure that it makes sense for the viewer. Some will dislike this due to motion sickness, but I personally didn't experience any. Regardless, thank you to KawaiiDetectiveEnthusiast for putting this together! KDE is an amazing artist. Definitely check out the original and show KDE some love!
I must note, any camera motion or lighting (volumetric lighting doesn't work well with VR) that is irregular or any clipping you notice is an error on my part, not KDE's. KDE is nothing short of a perfectionist on such things, as am I, but I had to cut some corners with camera angles fitting with the scene, as well as models clipping. Otherwise, this wouldn't have released for another month, as setting up moving VR cameras takes a long time to get just right. I may try to redo this down the road when things slow down for me.
Please, give me some feedback and criticism on the moving camera. Are moving cameras something you want in videos, or do you prefer static cameras? What did you like? What did you dislike? Let me know in the comments or send me a message. Enjoy!
