Thus, I (Colin) have stepped into the breach for an ultra-rare off-schedule episode of Sacred Symbols+. We didn't want you to go without your daily promised show, after all. I solicited your inquiries, you submitted more than 150 in like an hour while I was outside mowing the lawn, and I chose 27 to answer (of which we got to 26). Naturally, we cover all sorts of subjects. What's going on with The Last of Us: Factions? How do I ultimately feel about Alan Wake now that I've beaten it? If I'm such an NFL fan, why don't I ever play Madden? Will Spider-Man 2 shatter the Earth? Can PSVR2 survive? Will paid early access to games increasingly become a thing? Who owns Lufia and Illusions of Gaia, and will they ever return? What will we do for Sacred 300? All that -- and a lot more -- on the other side of play.

I think you really need to take a step back from what you think gets people subscribed to game pass and any service really. It is definitely about the amount of content rather than play time of select products. The illusion of a backlog you will eventually get to is what sells and has been selling game pass, otherwise they would just buy their games.

Even if it’s only 8 titles currently, the people who’d be interested in going back to these are mostly hardcore and could understand the absence of titles if they explain somewhere how they have to go game by game to port them.

If they’re gonna throw shit at the wall, might as well make fans happy and give them what they want. Plus, they’d already have all the PS4 library, I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard if the Deck is pretty much doing it.
