Sup yall?! What do u think is the best joy con color combo? I recently just got a lime green right side joycon from (I think) splatoon, to go with the classic blue left. Looks pretty radical. Have u guy ever traded colors with friends? Thanks, love from The Twin Cities. Classic black maybe the best for playing in public tho admittedly. I’m sure colin has the classic black.

2023-09-17 18:24:23 +0000 UTCHey Puncher-Uppers, I saw a few comments on the recent Direct saying that Nintendo is "clearly" slowing their output because of Switch 2 next year, but from my POV as an admittedly unfamiliar Nintendo player, I feel like they have tons of great things to look forward to. Sure, they aren't all new entries, but this year we had Tears of the Kingdom and Pikmin 4, then soon Mario Wonder and the Mario RPG remake. Going into 2024, there's Princess Peach Showtime, Paper Mario remake and more. I'm sure big titles like the next 3D Mario and Metroid Prime 4 are being saved for Switch 2, but I still feel like this lineup is nothing to complain about and actually very strong. What are your thoughts? As always, thanks for the great content, love all the shows across the LSM sphere!

Even with Nintento not mentioning the series, what would you guys like to see out of the next Fire Emblem? Do you even like or have you played any Fire Emblems? Do you have a favourite? As someone that started with Three Houses and then went backwards and really enjoyed Awakening, I really disliked Engage and dropped it at Ch. 17 mostly because of the terribly executed story. Cheers

2023-09-17 05:15:15 +0000 UTCBrick Fistin' Fools, With things flowing in a positive direction for Nintendo as of late - a highly successful Mario movie, a stellar follow up (TotK) to Nintendo's best modern game (BotW), two well done remakes of dearly beloved games (SMRPG & TTYD), a modestly positive reception of the "End of Switch Lifespan" Nintendo Direct, and so on, is anyone else increasingly worried that Nintendo is destined to botch the new console launch? Does WB have no bar for quality when it comes to switch? How is this acceptable to charge $70 for a product like this? Take care guys

2023-09-16 22:01:43 +0000 UTCWahoo, you wild bunch, So with the reveal of the iPhone 15 Pro and its new A17 chip, many games like Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding and Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be hitting phones with alleged finesse and near Steamdeck level quality. With mobile further pushing to take on the handheld space, would a new Nintendo console be best to stay in the hands of gamers or should they look at other gimmicks to pursue? We have tapped screens, waggled out, and taken gaming on the go but what would you like to see differently next generation? Thanks!

I personally had reservations about the 99-player-bonanza, but it surprisingly works for F-Zero! I’m having a ton of fun and hope enough people play to convince Nintendo to make a new F-Zero…or at least remaster my beloved F-Zero GX! Dearly, Fozzie

Gotta say, never been much of a Princess Peach fan but Princess Peach Showtime! actually looked pretty interesting, in particular the Kung Fu Peach portion. It’s obviously too early to tell just how good the game will be but what was your guys’ impression on the trailer?

2023-09-16 17:54:29 +0000 UTCHey y’all, We’ve got even more Mario remakes on the way, and I was wondering what your experience is with Mario Vs. Donkey Kong? I played the original quite a few times through on GBA, and was very surprised to see it getting the remake treatment, especially since the series has been so Mini-Mario focused since. However with all of the great games on the horizon, I’m not sure if I’ll pick it up at $50. Hopefully there’s a bit more to show to make that price worth it, even though I think the game looks really great and keeps the charm of the GBA version.
