Updates
A couple changes are starting this month. As previously discussed, we will no longer be releasing animations on a monthly basis. You all voted and this was the agreement we came to. Animations will not be under a time crunch any longer to ensure better quality. Because of this, this also means that polls will happen as they fall, not at the beginning of the month. When a new model releases (HINT:Terra Branford, Henryk, and Plain Doll), a new poll will begin, when an animation completes, positions and models will be voted on, etc. But don't fret. We now have three animators, a scene builder, two sound techs, a voice actress, two testers, a photographer, and a couple dozen artists to collaborate with. And don't worry, you'll still be getting 5+ animations/conversions a week. Also, I'll be releasing at least one exclusive a week, like before, as well as a remaster or alternate angle every week.
Another welcome change is that I will be doing my own animations now that I have a little more free time. I can't say how often it will be, but every week I'll do my best to start a fresh one, or at least finish one up from a prior week. So much time working on conversions and group projects has taught me quite a bit about animation!
Along the lines of Post work, I finally have a routine figured out that will ensure the highest quality for the minimum amount of render time. On top of this, I've finally figured out how to utilize depth of field for a better video appearance while in SFM, BEFORE post, as well as a way to keep volumetric lighting! It involves a bit of trickery and fooling SFM, but it works. These two things have been the bane of my existence since I started conversion work, so it is very big deal to finally have them figured out. They aren't quite Blender quality... yet. But soon!
If you didn't already see or hear, Patreon relocated to the UK, which is causing a bit of heartache for people and their banks. Make sure to check your institution's processing to make sure you're good to go.
I think that just about covers everything. Thank you all for your continued support! We could not do this without you.
