Samus' In-Pool Powerball (Exclusive)

Thanks goes out to Bayern for the animation, as well as Audiodude for the sound! I took the original animation and decided to create an entirely new scene build for it, which then lead to testing...

I used this opportunity of having a fresh scene-build to test out water physics in relation to stitching, again. Originally I attempted this with my 2b monthly animation, and recently again on the remaster of said animation. After attempting a couple different render settings, there really just isn't a way to stitch water, unfortunately. It's too randomized and the textures separate too much.

I DID learn something new about stitching in relation to Ambient Occlusion, however. In the past I would have stitching seams occur (they always occur, just more obvious at times than others) more than normal, or when they shouldn't at all. Usually it's due to heavy lighting changes around the stitching area, a layer thrown over top of the animation, or volumetric lighting. I discovered that using certain settings for Ambient Occlusion could amplify this effect, even on a white background. Knowing what specific settings to stay away from should allow me nullify that effect even more-so than before, as well as use Volumeteric Lighting more frequently without having to do a separate render altogether. Great news all around! It won't be as clean as a week long rendered Blender animation, but it will be less noticeable and I'll be able to continue putting out tons of animations each week, as well as longer ones. Speaking of longer ones, I have taken on doing compilations again, so expect at least one of those a month for those of you who have been supporting me at the $10 level.
