It looks like Elizabeth really took the crown without too much of a fight (Mila was close), but Juli and Leliana will have to leave to make room for others! For positions, the winners are clearly Legs Over Shoulders, Missionary, and Cowgirl. I'll begin the scene build this week and we'll get started right away.

Let me preface this next section by saying that some of this has been covered else where already, but I want to say this all formally.

As some of you know, Dark Dreams has been going through a major overhaul since July. It's been a rough time for myself due to family losses and a slow but steady growth period for Dark Dreams. For months we've been taking a look at our workflow and comparing it to those around us.  I spoke with quite a few of you about this on the Discord as well as other studios and artists and we've decided to let quantity take a backseat to quality and focus on giving you better overall animations. As an example, animation loops will be no shorter than 15 seconds in length, a whopping change from the original 5 second goal I initially set. This is the bar, not the limit, though. As an example, the last animation I completed this week went from 8 seconds to 31 seconds with no looping. I made this decision after concluding with others that we put out a LOT of content on a weekly basis, and that it's more time efficient to change an existing animation to be more varied and realistic than do another short loop. Most studios do 1 a month, while solo artists do 1-2 a week. We've been doing an average of 5-6 a week. While this has been great in teaching me a solid routine for conversion, my closest friend summed it up pretty well in saying, "That's crazy." From now on can expect 3 public releases a week along with 1 Patreon-only post of some kind, BUT animations will have longer loops and sound, better scene building, animation work, color grading, and style. I've already tried this approach for a couple weeks now (maybe a month?), and the quality of animations has gone up vastly. I hope that I'll be back to 4+ every week as I get faster, but until I run Dark Dreams fulltime instead of juggling jobs I can't be sure.

We're still right on the edge of reaching our next Patreon goal and sending out a weekly animation, or shorts, from our studio. This means that once a week we'll have an animation made by one of our own artists. It will be a fresh animation that is made for VR from the ground up. I'm very excited for this, as this will open the doors of creativity on a weekly basis instead of a monthly or bi-monthly basis. Speaking of which, as most of you know studio release animations are no longer monthly based, but should be completed within a couple months at most. The last studio release, "Cia's Visit", took way longer than we anticipated with all the major changes and new workflow. We don't want that to happen again. Once my base animations are completed for a week, all of my time will be devoted to working on the studio release.

Awesome. Looking forward to this. I'm hoping that since there are a fair amount of voice tracks from the game that maybe we get more than just moans for audio from her. Though i'm sure that's still fairly limited.

This was actually brought up on Discord. From now on in compilations or longer animations, loops will repeat more times before switching, or I'll be releasing the scenes separately so that you can play them until you're ready to switch.

Longer and more varied animations are definetely a good thing! Also, "Iris Isn't So Innocent After All" was truely great, would love to see more of this kind, however preferably maybe with a little longer lasting animations (they can loop some times before the next scene).

Thanks for the update! I'm a 100% fan of quality over quantity. The longer more realistic / cinematic animations are what I hope to see VR head to in this realm. Keep up the fantastic work!
