We received a staggering amount of write-ins on the subject from all walks of life in the gaming world, so the Dukes are happy to oblige and get into the thick of things on this touchy subject. Meanwhile, this hasn't been a year to celebrate Call Of Duty as Modern Warfare 3 officially sits as one of the lowest reviewed releases in franchise history. With a fresh report on the tumultuous development cycle, the Dukes discuss how Xbox can approach this in the future to avoid such a blunder. If anything, I think including PSVR 2 and Horizon’s DLC is a more apt comparison. If it does just become what’s exclusive to the console, then there’s a lot of games left out for Xbox.

People who primarily play on Xbox and feel slighted because an Xbox studios game was not nominated for GoTY need to detach their identity from a brand that is indifferent to their existence. Whether Wonder, Starfield, or Spider-Man were nominated shouldn’t affect your enjoyment of the game and it’s not an attack on you as a person. Constantly dedicating time on this show to a sliver of the audience who are sad about Xbox not getting more credit takes away from an otherwise solid show. I’d wager that the constant defense of Xbox is what brings up a lot of the Dukes criticisms. Brings the news, celebrate wins and criticize failures. Don’t placate to the audience that needs Xbox to be validated by the masses. But I do love the show, Matty, and Cog. Wishing you both continued success and good health.
