Ro & Avery dated for around 2 years (ages 19 to 21) - they broke up amicably, but it was because Ro was too intense. they're still friends and hang out sometimes

Isi was having confusing feelings at the time & is prone to jealousy :')

A lot of people were surprised by Ro's big smile - I need to draw it more!! she does try to look tough most of the time, but she can be pretty extroverted and affectionate (but she has been depressed lately in the current timeline :/)

Velvet Crowbar & Iridescence (Avery's bad) toured together around this time

I hope people aren't too mean to Avery bc she's a nice girl, it's not her fault Ro has had a dozen GFs
