It was pretty good in live action but man, that “luffy, help me” hits different in the anime. This episode in the anime is what actually fully sold me on it. Then I wound up watching 700+ eps before I gave up lol. Whenever it ends I’ll probably finish it. Gonna be interesting to see what they do with the even more outrageous characters in upcoming arcs.

The ending of this episode gets me every time, Nami's breakdown, stabbing her arm to try to get rid of the tattoo, Luffy showing up, her finally asking for help and then Luffy, knowing how important that straw hat is to him, putting the hat on Nami's head, gets me every time. Great reaction, I look forward to the finale.
