2024-08-02 18:13:24 +0000 UTCon the topic of the voting gimmick on raw that the time Big E on the New day podcast did say that when they had a vote for his opponent is was a shoot vote and thought it was obvious who was going to win so he laid out a proper match with that guy and only a skeleton of a match with the other and that did mess him up because the other guy won and basically had to call the match in the ring. can't remember who was on the vote

Jey has his on the left cuz there is an “E” in his name and jimmy on the right cuz he has an “I” in his name. Not the most groundbreaking of tips but hope it helps 👍 great vid btw guys, looking forward to the next series.

However, I do have a bit of food for thought regarding the topics you guys will choose and while I will always love you two doing long form content this series has been a bit of a bust for me personally. I don’t find this era of WWE engaging at all and the break of the shield as you guys said was a monumental botch and they ruined at least 2 great characters with it, and there is nothing engaging on the undercard or anything else, like it’s all just so apathetic, at least with bad WCW or TNA it’s absolutely bonkers which is so fun. I really think it hinders the rewatchability of these episodes when the topic is so drab and lifeless which is something you guys hoped to increase with the changes. I was mulling over whether to up my pledge to 11.50 to keep WTExtra and I think had this been the topic you picked I wouldn’t have done it, having said that the TNA ones I am super looking forward to because they will just be way more fun and chaotic and you guys will both love it. So basically, podcast still goated but maybe a diff process of choosing topics? maybe come up with like 3 ones you wanted to do and let the patreons vote on it? or something else. I think the main topics I’d love to see are: Gargano & Ciampa NXT Rivalry NWO in WCW Rise of Stone Cold Invasion
