I always assumed Crocodile was using his sand powers to dry up the clouds in the sky so that they wouldn't rain unless he wanted them to, and because Crocodile got knocked out, it kinda showed the sand reset itself like there was no control over it anymore before the rain fell. It's pretty convenient having it rain right then and there, but its a mighty cool moment nonetheless lol

Lycan when Dance powder is being used u can see it in de sky because the sky finna get dark in the particular spot. that is how the citizen knew it was no dance powder. i don’t like this arc dat much but there are much much better arcs tho

I don't know what changed, but i can feel that Lycan your not enjoying it like you use to, that's sad, but i also feel as you tryna kinda mock everything you been messing things, like you clearly didn't get why does the rain start falling again right after we've been shown some sand going up the sky and right after Crocodile have been knocked out. Now that whole arc is practically over, i feel like maybe you didn't connect with it the right way, because, Vivi's characters for example, have never ever meant to be a fighter, and i think you wanted to much from here, she's fighting with her heart cause she can't do a lot more, but she won't do less neither, and that's just enough 😊

It was hard to see Lycan roast Vivi cause she s one of my best girl from the very start I liked her more than Nami but I love that he does. Everybody has a different take on stuff. That's why I enjoy the reaction, I'm not watching people watching anime I've already watched just so they can agree with me all the time.

Lycan bro Koza and the squad were mad not because it was only raining at the palace, but because they thought the king wasn't willing to share the rain powder with the citizens. watch it back. It comes up a number of times trust me.

Also just saying if you're gonna criticize what characters do, hey that's fine, part of the reaction, but just try to imagine what their other options are. Like yes what they did wasn't a great choice but they didn't exactly have any better options.

One Piece is a journey. Have fun, keep an open mind, and enjoy making wild speculations. Just don't come up with a theory and convince yourself it's true cause then you may start confusing the stuff you're guessing with the stuff that the show actually tells you, cause there's a lot of story details and you never know what info will come back up later. Also human's in One Piece are only humans in concept. It's a fantasy story and you're gonna see more and more wild things as you go.

One Piece is my favorite manga/anime definitely, but I honestly have a lot criticism then both of them combined

As a person who’s has been reading and watching one piece for for over a decade I can say that all the points made by each of the were valid, I personally didn’t enjoy this arc that much and rewatching it hasn’t changed that, but I can say that Oda definitely learned from the mistakes in this arc and the next arcs are some of my favorite in Shonen Jump history

Small thing to throw in here too, but I think it will help when you watch going forward. A lot of times you guys will see characters throw out a new move and you are surprised and always wonder where they trained or learned it. The show doesn't actually show their entire journey. They show important arcs and such, but it is implied that they have day to day life spent sailing on the seas doing mundane stuff. Like the events you see happening in the Openings, all of that stuff happens in the background or in between arcs. The crew spends even more time together than is actually shown.

Imma say my mind concerning Lycan's points 1. Vivi could go down and help, sure, but it wouldn't have changed things. Once again, you're thinking from a logical stand point. The point of Vivi standing there, screaming at the armies to stop fighting is because she has nothing left, she's broken. Every attempt to stop the war has failed, she's lost Pell and even that didn't stop the war. She was broken and the only thing she could do was beg and scream and plead for her people to stop killing each other. It's not about logic its about drama 2. You see before Koza jumps for the rain drop that one of his allies is supporting him. Come on Lycan my dude, so much time has passed, do you think they'd just leave him on the ground? Also if you look close, a raindrop DOES fall on his hand when he lands. And once again, he does it because it's dramatic 3. The point isn't that it's raining in Alubarna, its that it's raining at all. The armies were insane, blood thirsty, surrounded by dust and sand, they were only focused on killing their enemies. The rain cleared the dust and snapped everyone out of their frenzy. The rain didn't stop the fighting, it cleared everyone's heads enough for them to hear Vivi Still, love the videos man, you guys keep up the good work

Ok guys you need to understand that it's a manga, thats not done to be realistic, its a fiction, thats completely normal if sometime things make no sense, i mean luffy ate a fruit who give him the power to strech endlessly 😂, so koza being alive after receiving some bullet shouldn't suprise you that much aha, i just wanted to remind you because i think that the fact that you try to make it consistent blocks you a little and prevent you to totally enjoy the anime. However your reactions are still really great and youre being so real and honest and thats the most important keep up your good work doubledragon.

This arc was released in 2000-2002 and its just a build up for the next story and major events. A lot of stuff don’t make sense now but I believe you will start to get them after the next Arc (that’s where you’ll understand more about the grand line and one piece power scale). I honestly like yall reaction & how yall keeping it real! Have fun watching the show x

Jeez watching the reactions for arc got harder and harder over time. I can tell you didn't like the arc which is cool everyone has their opinions but damn the constant laughing and crapping on everything got really hard to watch at times. Especially when it came to Vivi. There was some stuff you crapped on that you thought didn't makes sense but it actually did you were just quick to dislike it.

Her voice was able to carry further from being up so high without people or buildings to stop the sound waves from travelling. If she was down below she would have gotten mixed up in the rest of the noise from the war and people.

Like someone else said Vivi was the one to stop the fight....if Vivi had stopped yelling and ran downstairs like you were telling her to...i think the rain would've made the rebel fighters more angry because of the location...but since Vivi was there yelling they heard her and stopped.

The complete lack of empathy for Vivi was pretty triggering tbh. Hopefully you enjoy the series more going forward. I've watched One Piece three times through showing it to different friends and I've never encountered this reaction to Vivi lol

People being injured and using sheer resolve to get back up is literally anime 101, I have no idea how this is surprising. (Koza/Tashigi)

Now that Crocodile is defeated, if you remember this whole arc it's for the most part the same story and plot to the Batman movie with Bane. There is differences of course but they might be watching One Piece.

Most of the stuff that doesn't make sense is more just like luck. But not crazy enough luck to really be a problem. Yeah Vivi could go help but she could also be mentally defeated after what she saw. The rain could only be in the palace but these people will stop at the sight of rain regardless. Kohza catching the rain, honestly i never saw it like that. I always saw it as Kohza fell from the battle and happened to notice the rain, but i could see it either way. There is no way he could have seen a rain drop coming at that moment, so i just assume he was knocked down and Oda threw some luck in that rain started falling where he could see.

I can only speak for the Vivi thing. Vivi repeatedly shouting for them to stop was meant to show her broken mental. That's why Nami was looking up and crying at her and asking everyone else to do something. Especially after Pell died, she just lost her mind for a second. You even said,"She gon need counselling after this. 05:32 " So I thought u caught on.

Sorry I keep commenting. But I dont think it mattered where it rained in alabasta. Seeing rain is a shock for both the rebels and the royal army. Plus Vivi being heard after the silence the rain created has a lot more impact than you'd think, in my opinion. I know Vivi isn't that liked by Lyc4n but I think she is important to both the royal army and the rebels because of Koza. To me that was a very fitting end to the war.

From what I've seen people either really like this ark or they don't. I personally really enjoy it. Especially on a second watch. The genius of oda is how he can connect early parts of the story with stuff that happens later down the line.
