Dark Crow Thanks god there are smart people too here

SPOILER DO NOT READ In my opinion both sides are correct. Yes Luffy and Zoro said they because they knew he was not alone, but I think Oda made it a double hint at BB.

Storm King

The one piece community majority have no reading compherison and just follow dumb youtube theories. Everything presentef in the manga points to them saying 'they' meaning his crew.

johnny reefer

The opinion about this scene is very mixed in one piece community you cant just prentend having the truth like that

You are a fool and its clearly talking about 'they ' being a crew

johnny reefer

Ok you have you "theory", i have mine, neither of our theory has been confirmed, zorro and luffy didnt aprove when nami ask if he had a crew. Im sorry for beiing so cold its because i didnt liked the way you guys answered to me, you acted like i was a fool and you were right when both of us had just some proof and nothing confirmed, so nobody have right for the moment so we will see when the time will come, peace.

Ace is under Ace? :P A little typing error

Luffy even calls out Zoro about it like yup here they are.

johnny reefer

Teach (Blackbeard) was a crewman under Ace. And if you watch the warlords meeting you will see sengoku (the fleet admiral) say that Blackbeard is a nobody and they don’t know him.

Here's just some info from episodes you've already seen restated for you: Blackbeard was a crewman UNDER Ace, who is a commander of one of Whitebeard's ships. Also at the meeting in Marie Jois, when Lafitte mentions Blackbeard's name they call him a nobody that they haven't even heard of. Blackbeard claims he is trying "get into the big leagues" by beating someone with a 100 million or higher bounty.

oh ok

Just to clarify, when you hear romance you probably think love stories but that's more of an overused modern definition. The original definition of romance is more like "adventure and mystery" so One Piece would be considered a grand story of romance, just not in the way you're thinking. Oda's original story that he first made and later reworked into One Piece was called Romance Dawn.

Nick K

what are you talking about, i was talking to you with the "marco and manga shit" i know that they are just at episode 152 i wasn't talking to them ive added a spoiler alert btw

They already look at the lengths of arcs just like they did for alabasta or some one told them what the last episode would be either way they knew. Me saying the arc is my least favorite doesn't ruin their experience, I know plenty of people who enjoy the arc a lot; im just not one of them. Again what they experience could be totally different. Hell my experience could change as i watch their reaction, i haven't seen the arc in a while.

you cant just say shit about a theory using facts about marco, and manga shit, they ahvent seen or been there. from right now where they are on ep 152, there is absolutely no clue about that theory, and we dont even know if he has a devil fruit right now. so stfu. luffyzoro were clearly talking about they as a crew which is reinforced this episode.

Spree

Youcef to much info bro!!

spoilers ahead dont read lycan amenz: youcef its not proven yet tho dude so u cant just say that "they were talking about blackbeard and that they will understand later dont worry" because its just a theory, a good theory but still not fact. so stfu. even this epsiode, notice how blackbeard follows luffy to the knockup, luffy and zoro both see blackbeard and the crew and alrdy know they were together, they werent surprised they were a crew.

Spree

SPOILER Do you guys read the manga? In the recents chapter we had more info about blackbeard body that goes on this sense. Ive read the manga and ive rewatched one piece 2 time i know what im saying lol

delete ur comment youcef, wtf.

Spree

i dont think u should tell them things like "sky island will be long" and "my least favorite arc"

Spree

No the aren't. That is just a shitty theory that isn't real or right.

johnny reefer

They were not talking about the crew with the "they" but about blackbeard himself, you will understand after dont worry.

yall are forgetting that blackbeard is trying to get luffy so he has more pull with the world government and so he can become a warlord

Ben

buggy can be pointed out by his big red nose lol he cant take it off its his natural nose just a random fact lol and when yall were saying they didnt know its blackbeard thats because blackbeard is still a nobody at this point besides to the members of whitebeards crew because blackbeard was just a random member and ace was a commander

Ben

you need to rewatch the warlords meeting then you will see what blackbeards status in the world is right now and why nobody recognized him. The part after the shanks whitebeard scene. Its rly short.

Thats a dumb theory that is full of bull. They were talking about the entire crew. They knew about the sniper. They met both the doc q and burgess. And we see them all walking together as a crew. Its clearly what Oda meant. Any theory is nothing but nonsense.

johnny reefer

Laffitte says something about Blackbeard’s status when he was at the warlords meeting

oh also Blackbeard was under Ace.

Sky Island is gonna be long but push through it (my personal least favorite arc, but i know a lot of people love it). plus there is some good information in a few episodes. Looking forward to yalls reactions to the arc.

That’s not what they meant when they said “they”, there are theories but we haven’t been told completely about what that means. Zoro and Luffy didn’t know he had a crew with him. I just wanted to clarify that because if someone didn’t say anything, you guys would’ve misunderstood that important part.

Just in case you miss out Blackbeard real name is Marshall D Teach. Another character with D in their name again is introduced. I reccomend to rewatch on your own time episode 151 to remember the new characters name and thier bounties.

With respect to Whitebeard's and Blackbeard's names: in Japanese, their names are "shiro-hige" and "kuro-hige" (White-beard and Black-beard). "Hige" actually means "facial hair" with no distinction between beard or mustache. The name works in Japanese, but, translated to English, it's weird since Whitebeard doesn't actually have a beard and Blackbeard's beard is not really full grown.

Darksteel78

Luffy and black beard are opposite of each other. When Monkey D. Luffy said "this drink taste good" Marshall D. Teach aka black beard said the opposite.
