You don't need to be killed to be defeated, to be defeated is the opposite of victory. Eneru got up and kept fighting and was cool after the reject dial, but Luffy BEAT him and he lost after that. That's the difference

You have to have more than your heart stop for you to completely die. His brain still had enough oxygen for him to function and in that time he used his power to restart his heart. He wasn't dead. As for Wyper defeating him, Eneru restarted his heart and got back up in a pretty short amount of time so I don't think that counts as defeating him either. Wyper knocked him down for a little, but then Eneru got back up and continued doing what he was doing: no defeated. Luffy knocked him out and Eneru gave up on destroying Skypiea: he was defeated. To defeat someone you have to stop them from achieving their goal. Luffy did that, Wyper didn't. To use boxing as an example, everytime you get knocked down doesn't count as a defeat. You have to completely win.
