Ussop voice acting hits different

Ussop knowing merry was done for and still chose to leave his group puts him in the wrong imo. It’s like choosing the family car over your family. Luffy has to make the tough choice and move on. Like Zoro said “that’s the burden of being captain”. Even the other straw hats knew Luffy is in the right otherwise they wouldn’t still follow him and be part of the crew. You can feel for Ussop, but he left the crew so easily over what? He acuses Luffy of giving up on the merry “easily” but what other choice does Luffy have? It’s Ussop who turned his back on the crew so easily because of his stubbornness and refusal to accept reality. Still from Ussop view, it’s a reflection of his own fear of being left behind by the crew. Because he sees himself as weak and useless. Now that the merry is useless, they leave her behind. Ussop is scared that he will be left behind as “easily” because he feels that he is useless compared to the other strawhats. In other words, imo it’s no ones fault. They all felt how they felt and I feel it doesn’t matter who you side with. Love this arc. Love One Piece.
