Handy dandy tip about about the money: generally with all this fantasy money in Japanese stories it's pretty much a given unless stated otherwise that the currency is about the same value as real life Japanese Yen, right? If you want a simple way of figuring out what the value is in say $US, just remove the last two digits. So a 100 [fantasy currency] fruit or something = 100 Yen = 1 Dollar. So the 300 million Eris reward the party got for killing that guy = 300 mill Yen, take off the last two digits and you go from 300,000,000 to "just" $3,000,000 US. The actual current exchange rate of yen to dollar for that is $2,785,261, so it's not exact, but hey it gives a rough approximation of how much all this stuff would cost in real life without having to plug the numbers into a currency converter (what's a couple of hundred grand here and there when you're dealing with such amounts? lol). So Kazuma's party owes the equivalent of nearly $400,000 for the repairs because the total bill the "full-figured" admin lady gave them was was 340million. Roundabout way of saying that I side with Amenz on this one: If I owed the city 400 grand because of the moronic antics of some girls I know then simply "pissed off" isn't enough, doesn't matter if they were all supermodels or something lol. So When someone told me this I had a lot of fun approximating stuff like One Piece bounties to $ as I assume that OP money = yen like everything else in anime.
